I wanted to believe the praying voices in the air
I wanted to be saved by prophecies from billionaires
I wanted to remember places that I have yet to know
Have we been sowing seeds that never grow?
I wanted love but only hate has served me well these days
I wanted peace but it feels good to see my foes' disgrace
