Eleven o'clock, the telenovela starts
Mom says I can't stay up
Midnight
I sit down at my window
I pace the room and sleep runs away like food from a plate
One o'clock
Here comes the paranoia
Two o'clock
The depression
Three o'clock
The solitude
3:30 AM, my skin itches
I take off the armor and the blood overflows
Four o'clock
I look at that crazy painting and the broken mirror
4:20, give me a joint (or a blunt)
I want to die high before the sirens reach my room
Five o'clock, I wonder what time the Sun will rise
I calm myself down and move until sleep appears
Finally
The Sun is about to rise
And with it my nightmare begins to fade
5:30 AM, the alarm clock rings
I turn it off and say: Why did you wake me up?
The voices whisper: Sleep just a little more
Almost six, it's time to go
I get up, stop, and think
It's all okay in here
It was just another nightmare without comfort
