A stranger sight was never seen
Not a soul is heard - no voices, not a face is seen
All the ships have sailed, the flights are gone
There's a house with the windows open..and the TV's on

It will come on one fine morning - it's guaranteed
There's an empty store, and a vacant shop
And a baseball lies in stillness - in the parking lot
Newspaper blows, down a dusty street
And a billboard shows me a picture - something good to eat
