Miracle
I was adrift, a ship without a sail
Lost in the shadow, where hope began to fail
I was nothing, simply a soul abandoned
In the sadness of my own self, where joy was out-landed
My compass spun, the stars refused to shine
Believing this darkness was forever mine
But I placed my heart in God's hands
For He led me to calm waters I never knew how to navigate
What was impossible, He transformed and spanned
From water to wine, I awoke as I had never slept
Oh, what a miracle, what a glorious fate!
The current pulled, the waves were fierce and high
I thought for sure this was where I'd have to die
Then came the whisper, a presence strong and true
A gentle Shepherd leading me anew
He didn't just calm the storm, He moved the sea
And showed the path that was always meant for me
And I placed my heart in God's hands
For He led me to calm waters I never knew how to navigate
What was impossible, He transformed and spanned
From water to wine, I awoke as I had never slept
Oh, what a miracle, what a glorious fate!
No earthly wealth, no word could ever measure
This perfect peace, this overwhelming treasure
Oh Lord, to you I am eternally grateful
Body and soul, bones and flesh, light and aura
You took the broken, and made it pure gold
A story of redemption that will never grow old
Because I placed my heart in God's hands
For He led me to calm waters I never knew how to navigate
What was impossible, He transformed and spanned
From water to wine, I awoke as I had never slept
Oh, what a miracle, what a glorious fate!
Awake! Awake! In Him I dwell
Freed from the silence, broken from the spell
Grateful now, forevermore
Amen
