Tranquility in white

A poet with no voice

Death
Is close to me
Its breath
Each day grows near

Enchanted
By its soft spell
Accepting
My trip to hell

It can be something physical
Something that's not comprehensible
Let's try not to be cynical
For some it may seem invincible
And then you came in white
Down through my throat
My tears you wipe
My sugar coat

The next day: I'm still resilient
Face straight up, I am sufficient
But every time I stray from you
The colors go, and I see the truth

No one will hug (me)
Lift up my face
A pill, a drug
Shall take this place

Behold
I'm all alone
No note
When I am gone

They'll all remain
At their own homes
While my remains
Are eaten by worms

It can be something physical
Something that's not comprehensible
Let's try not to be cynical
For some it may seem invincible
And then you came in white
Down through my throat
My tears you wipe
My sugar coat

The next day: I'm still resilient
Face straight up, I am sufficient
But every time I stray from you
The colors go, and I see the truth

It can be something physical
Something that's not comprehensible
Let's try not to be cynical
For some it may seem invincible

The next day: I'm still resilient
Face straight up, I am sufficient
But every time I stray from you
The colors go and I see the truth
