Black garden

A poet with no voice

(Hey, hi, what are the odds of running into you here?)
(Yeah, funny how that happens)
(So, how's life treating you?)
(It's, it's been alright, I'm good)

The days are always the same
But for them, it doesn't really matter
If you're low, they'll say just feel better

The Sun in the sky, for others it's life
But for you, it's heat making you sweat
Over the table, they hand over a knife
While you consider using it for bad

Raining forever
In a world where there is no light
Shades of grey fade to black
In your world where nothing turns white

While others, they sing
And I can't see a thing
In this life with no reason, so meaningless
For others I'm strange and never will change
It's just me and my willingness

They play with a ball at the shore
I'm not invited anymore
Because they all know
I will always say no

But there's something inside me
They'll never see
In the depths of the sea
I wish I could be

He is so clever
It's his way, he's doing alright
He is a wildcard in the deck
No problem is a match for his mind

While others, they sing
And I can't see a thing
In this life with no reason, so meaningless
For others I'm strange and never will change
It's just me and my willingness

Little do they know
How I feel alone
And I wish
Their light could reach my world

It's clear, I know that I'm different
But I am unable to tell the difference
Something they carry and I don't have it present
To enjoy each day of my short passing existence

Look at this tired heart
And show me the missing part
So I can see life as an art
With no ideas of drifting apart

While others, they sing
And I can't see a thing
In this life with no reason, so meaningless
For others I'm strange and never will change
It's just me and my willingness
