Amidst the solemn fall

But she did nothing at all
Heathen trials began
The scornful man led them
To crush the Devil's clan
To save is to condemn
Children's testimony
The penalty is always death
For this pagan ceremony
Torture them until their last breath
Enchantresses and warlocks
Unjustly accused were they
Into freezing water thrown
Die, repent or live to burn
Blockula is the meadow
Where their transgression is held
'Tis where eerie chants echo
'Tis where evil doth dwell
The Devil's earthly court
Pagan Sabbath and heathen ritual
Ye who such sin sought
Shall feel God's refusal
Desperate cries up to heaven now rises
Blood soaked ritual of purification
Tortured bodies, headless and wretched
Prayers unanswered and adrift in the wind
The axe swings blindly into innocent flesh
More and more, there's no turning back now
Hysteria emerges and with it comes death
The witchfires burn, it's all grotesque
Heaven, hear me
As I sit here awaiting my fate
They have condemned me
But I know I'm innocent
The great clamour
Roaring in the night for your sins
The blood is pouring
From the throats of the Devil's kin
This war of Heaven
Will drain us of our humanity
When man becomes beast
