Dust

Sergio Umbria

By the thickness of the dust on the books of a
Public library culture can be measured
From a town. Only the lack of culture neglects
The most valuable thing the town has, the library

Only ignorant slabs hate books, because they know
That in them exists the greatest wisdom of the peoples
And those of the world's largest system suits you
The people do not read, because that way they dominate more, in all
The spheres, religious, cultural, and political

By the thickness of the dust on the books of a
Public library culture can be measured
From a town. Only the lack of culture neglects
The most valuable thing the town has, the library

Come on, let's open the books in the library, let's not leave
That the libraries close, when we open a book for
Reading it, we open the knowledge in our brains
Everyone to the fight and campaign to read the books, nothing
Outperforms books, not even by much modern technology

By the thickness of the dust on the books of a
Public library culture can be measured
From a town. Only the lack of culture neglects
The most valuable thing the town has, the library
