Here I stand upon the heath
The whole of London sleeps beneath
Concentrate, the latest find
Unleash the power of my mind
Up in a spaceship, down in the ground
Great pits of laughter the only sound
Everything buzzes, the sky glows red
Does it all happen?
Or is it just the numbskulls in my head
Nighttime explodes with myriad lights
Yet I can't focus try as I might
My brain is a whirlpool of strange ideas
It's vortex is sucking, drowning my fears
As the time passes the feeling grows
I've gained four more fingers
But I've lost all my toes
The air is as crisp as a new pound note
The mooning approaches
Bringing with it an antidote
Here I lie upon the heath
Covered in grass, symbolic wreath
Because last night part of me died
Those hidden thoughts I could not hide
